I remember reading these books as a kid and being rather terrified of the dark for a little while afterwards. Good times. I wish stories like these scared me so easily, still. The things we lose as we grow up...

Vox Hunt: Best of 2007

Show us which album tops your best of 2007 list so far.
It was a tough one, because I listen more to individual songs than albums. I narrowed down my favorites of the year to two specific albums.

Minutes to Midnight

Not sure why, but some people did not like this album. They said it was too different from Linkin Park's last albums. Well, Linkin Park said it would be different. I like the album a lot. It did not have to grow on me like some people I know, but then, I have noticed that I am not as picky about some types of music as other people I know. My favorite songs on this album are "Bleed it Out", "No More Sorrow", and "What I've Done".

It Won't Be Soon Before Long

This is the other album I really liked as a whole. It kind of surprised me, too, when it came out, because I had not been paying attention to when their new album was coming. I do not regret getting it, though.

Yes, it has a few kinks to work out, from what I have heard, but I am seriously considering getting one of these next time I decide to replace my cell phone. Maybe they will have a better version out by then.
